In professional plumbing and drainage, the 110mm Drainage Bend with a 30-degree angle is used to create a “gentle” turn in a pipeline. While 90-degree bends are common for vertical-to-horizontal transitions, 30-degree bends are preferred for horizontal runs. Using a shallower angle like this reduces the “impact” of waste hitting the pipe wall, which significantly lowers the chance of a blockage over time.

Applying a dedicated silicone lubricant to the captive rubber seal will allow the pipe to glide in smoothly.
