An Appliance Trap is a specialized waste fitting used to manage the discharge from domestic appliances like washing machines and dishwashers. Unlike a standard sink trap, it includes a pre-molded “boss” or spigot. This allows the appliance’s flexible corrugated hose to be clamped directly onto the trap, merging the waste into your 40mm kitchen pipework in a space-saving, efficient manner.
In modern kitchens and utility rooms, space is often restricted. Using a dedicated Appliance Trap removes the need for a bulky, floor-mounted standpipe.
