A downpipe clip (also known as a downpipe bracket) is a critical fastener used to secure vertical rainwater pipes to the exterior walls of a building. By anchoring the pipe at regular intervals, these clips ensure that water is channeled efficiently from the roof gutters to the ground drainage without the risk of the pipe shifting, leaking at the joints, or vibrating against the brickwork.
Without a high-quality downpipe clip, wind pressure and the weight of high-volume water flow can cause drainage pipes to pull away from the fascia or wall. This often leads to “pipe rattle” and eventual joint failure. Our clips are engineered to provide a rigid hold while allowing for the natural thermal expansion and contraction that occurs with UK seasonal temperature changes.
