A downpipe socket, often referred to as a coupler or joiner, is used to connect two separate lengths of 65mm square downpipe. In most residential installations, standard pipe lengths (typically 2.5m or 4m) may not reach from the guttering eaves to the ground-level gully. This socket allows you to extend the run vertically while ensuring the internal water flow remains uninterrupted and leak-free.
