Bright White Silicone Sealant is a versatile plumbing and construction essential used to create hygienic, watertight barriers. It is most commonly used for sealing around baths, shower trays, basins, and kitchen worktops. Its high-gloss “bright white” pigment is specifically chosen to match standard UK ceramic sanitaryware, ensuring that repairs and new installations blend seamlessly with existing fixtures.
In areas prone to constant moisture, standard fillers will fail. This sanitary silicone sealant utilizes an acetoxy-cure formula that creates a tough, rubbery seal capable of withstanding direct water contact. At ECO HEAT SHOP, we ensure our sealants are enriched with anti-fungal agents. This chemical barrier inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi, keeping your joints looking clean and white for years, even in poorly ventilated en-suites or utility rooms.
A common issue with inferior sealants is “de-bonding” when the house settles or a bathtub flexes under weight. Our Bright Silicone maintains excellent elasticity, allowing it to stretch and compress alongside the building’s natural thermal expansion. It offers exceptional adhesion to non-porous surfaces including glass, glazed ceramics, aluminum, and most painted metals.

Clean the Joint: Remove all old sealant, grease, and dust. The surface must be 100% dry before application.
Cut the Nozzle: Cut the plastic nozzle at a 45-degree angle to match the width of the gap you are filling.
Smooth the Bead: After extruding the silicone, use a dedicated sealant smoothing tool or a finger dipped in soapy water to press the sealant into the joint.
Maintenance: To keep the “Bright” finish, clean regularly with non-abrasive household cleaners to prevent soap scum buildup on the surface.
