Installation Guidelines

1. Ensure both the 40mm waste fitting and 21.5mm overflow pipe ends are cut square, deburred, and free of grease.
2. Apply a suitable solvent cement cleaner to the joint mating surfaces.
3. Apply an even coat of ABS solvent cement to the exterior of the reducer and the interior socket.
4. Push the reducer firmly home into the 40mm socket and insert the 21.5mm overflow pipe, holding for 10–15 seconds to allow the solvent bond to set.
